Inmate sentenced for attempted assault of correctional officers in Dutchess Co.

A man has been sentenced for attempting to assault correctional officers at Green Haven Correctional Facility in Beekman. 43-year-old Edward Gibson was sentenced to 12 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision in Dutchess County Court on Tuesday.
