Injured hiker rescued from Elena Gallegos Trailhead

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue helped an injured hiker at the Elena Gallegos Trailhead Thursday morning. AFR crews were dispatched to the trail around 9 a.m. and made contact with the injured hiker about 100 yards up from the trailhead. The hiker was treated and taken to the hospital by an Albuquerque Ambulance crew.
