Ricky Martin is publicly celebrating Bad Bunny after the superstar’s history-making night at the 2026 Grammys.

Following Bad Bunny’s three major wins — including album of the year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos — Martin shared an emotional open letter praising the rapper, 31, for achieving global success without compromising his identity, per Billboard.

The album marked the first entirely Spanish-language project to ever win the Grammys’ top prize.

“You won without erasing your roots,” Martin wrote, per the outlet. “You won by staying true to Puerto Rico.”

Martin, 54, also highlighted Bad Bunny’s acceptance speech, in which he spoke out in support of immigrant communities and criticized systems that divide families.
