Windy weather and a temperature roller coaster this week

A few spotty isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible in northern Utah through the afternoon. Windy conditions are expected across the state and several wind alerts have been posted. We cool down significantly on Sunday, but the most severe heatwave for the month of March arrives next week.
