Widespread rain, some severe storms expected overnight Friday

Severe thunderstorms are expected to hit the St. Louis area late Friday night into early Saturday morning, with the potential for wind gusts up to 60 mph, dime to quarter-sized hail, and a quick, spin-up, short duration tornado.
