WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Colts tight end Tyler Warren is entering his second year in the NFL after recording an impressive rookie season.

Indy’s No. 14 overall draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft totaled 76 receptions for 817 yards along with four touchdowns in his first year, and he’s excited to be back with his teammates at the start of training camp.

“I think everybody’s really excited,” Warren said. “From an offensive standpoint, coming back with the same coaching staff, same core group of guys is always exciting to build off of what you were able to do last year.”

Warren’s 817 receiving yards were the fifth most yards by a tight end last season, and his 474 yards after catch ranked second-highest among NFL tight ends. The 24-year-old said he feels more comfortable at the start of year two than he did going into his rookie season.

“I think personally you’re a little more relaxed, not being a rookie and learning everything as you go,” Warren said. “You know what to expect. That’s nice for me, and I think as a team, everybody’s always going to be excited. We had a good start last year, and obviously we have to finish. I think having the foundation of guys back that were here last year is really important.”
