Expect another unsettled start to the day across central Indiana. Showers remain likely through the morning, with scattered showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder continuing into the afternoon as the slow-moving storm system gradually exits the region. Highs only reach the upper 70s, making it feel much cooler than a typical early August day. While there will be breaks in the rain, keep the umbrella nearby because additional showers can develop with little notice. The good news is that rainfall coverage should gradually decrease later in the afternoon as drier air begins working into the state.
