WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The city government of Westfield has selected Nicholas Family of Companies as the developer for a planned ice hockey facility in the Grand Park Sports Campus, officials announced Wednesday.

If the selection is approved, the Westfield Redevelopment Commission is expected to finalize a contract in early April to begin design and predevelopment work. Construction planning would begin shortly afterward, with city officials targeting an opening in 2028.
