Warm and breezy today, pleasant weekend on tap

Yesterday reached a high of 61°, exactly the normal high temperature for early April. It was yet another pleasant, mostly sunny day, with a slight breeze in the afternoon. Today will offer more of the same with even warmer temperatures. This morning, a low cloud deck could envelop much of the eastern tier, but it should quickly burn off to some sunshine. With mostly sunny skies and a stiff southerly breeze, afternoon temperatures will soar into the mid-70s today. The cold front arrives after sunset to bring a few showers overnight, with rain amounts likely under 0.10".
