NORTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. — Someone in Virginia may be sitting on a Powerball ticket worth $100,000 without even realizing it — but time is almost up before the prize disappears for good.

Virginia Lottery officials said a winning Powerball ticket purchased for the Dec. 6, 2025, drawing remains unclaimed months after the numbers were announced.
