INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two families connected through organ donation, one from Indiana and the other from Ohio, met for the first time at the Indiana Pacers game Sunday night.

The Indiana Donor Network shared the families’ stories in a release sent Monday.

Dalton Eades of Walton, Indiana, died in January 2025 at the age of 14. A freshman at Lewis Cass High School, his family described him as loving the outdoors, being very involved with the FFA, and traveled the Midwest to compete in speed roller skating.
