INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — August began with two rounds of rain, with the heaviest falling Saturday afternoon and evening.
Flooding was reported across Indianapolis and surrounding communities as heavy rain battered the region for hours Aug. 1.
The following rainfall totals were reported to the National Weather Service and through open-source data outlets. The list includes locations that received more than 2.5 inches of rain and will be updated as more reports are received.
