County Route 26, NY — A damaged vehicle left outside a residence early Thursday morning has prompted a search for a suspect after a tire was deliberately slashed, according to state police.

The incident was reported around 7:14 a.m. when New York State Police responded to a call for criminal mischief at a home along County Route 26. Investigators determined that an unknown individual intentionally cut a front tire on the victim’s vehicle.
