Sugarcane field burnings cause ash to fall in Baton Rouge

Residents in the Baton Rouge area may experience ash falling from the sky due to sugarcane fields being burned in West Baton Rouge, and are advised to limit outdoor activity, keep windows and doors closed, and bring pets indoors when possible.
