Suspects flee after crash but are quickly caught

BALTIMORE, Md. — A stolen vehicle triggered a fast-moving chain of events when it was spotted on city streets — ending in a crash and a foot chase before both suspects were captured.

The incident unfolded Saturday, March 28 around 3:26 p.m., when officers received an alert from a license plate reader flagging a stolen vehicle.

Moments later, officers located the car in the 2500 block of Loyola Southway.

That’s when it took off.

The vehicle fled from officers before crashing, forcing the suspects to abandon the car and run.

But the escape didn’t last long.

Both suspects were quickly caught after attempting to flee on foot.
