State Bill to protect workers from Tijuana River Pollution passes committee

The California Senate Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee passed SB 1046, which would require Cal/OSHA to develop workplace standards to protect workers from exposure to hazardous transboundary pollution in the Tijuana River Valley.
