Silver Alert declared for 61-year-old woman missing from Anderson

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indiana Silver Alert has been declared for a 61-year-old woman missing from Anderson, Indiana.

The Anderson Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Lisa Benitez, a 61-year-old white female who is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown/gray hair with hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing unknown clothing.

Lisa is missing from Anderson, which is 39 miles northeast of Indianapolis, and was last seen on Jan. 3, 2026. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. 

Investigators ask that anyone with any information on Lisa Benitez contact the Anderson Police Department at 765-648-6775 or 911.
