INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — 27-year-old Santino Ferrucci is making his 8th start in the Indianapolis 500, and he’s never finished outside the top-10.

The 2019 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year drives the No. 14 Chevrolet for A.J. Foyt Racing, and he feels good about starting another May on the right track.

“I feel really good,” Ferrucci said. “The Chevrolet is really quick, a lot of pace. You know, seven top tens here. I’ve come close to winning this race a few times. Hopefully, this is our year. But I feel really good. We’re really far ahead of our program. Everything’s been going good so far, so smooth.”
