A line of strong storms is expected to weaken as it moves into Indiana after midnight Friday night, but some strong storms are possible NW of Indianapolis. The weekend will be much cooler with some frost possible by Sunday night.

FRIDAY NIGHT:

A line of strong storms will approach NW Indiana by midnight and then move deeper into the state during the overnight hours.  The threat of damaging wind gusts and a spin-up tornado or two are highest across NW Indiana through about 2-3 AM.  The severe threat should continue to wane as time goes on tonight and the overall severe threat for most of Central Indiana still appears on the lower side.
