Protest leads to temporary closure of San Ysidro Port of Entry

A protest caused the closure of the San Ysidro Port of Entry into Mexico for several hours on Thursday afternoon, leading to traffic heading south being rerouted to the Otay Mesa Port of Entry. All lanes were reopened by 12:50 p.m. The demonstration activity was on the Mexican side of the border.
