GALVESTON, Ind. (WISH) — A Cass County prosecutor declined to file criminal charges against Nick Bowyer, the Galveston town marshal, who has been on administrative leave since March 30.

According to prosecutors, they say that the evidence they have does not meet the standard required to support a criminal charge.

The town board of public safety has brought formal disciplinary proceedings against Bowyer, but has not elaborated on the nature of these allegations.
