BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) — The Beech Grove Police Department has finalized the procession route for the Celebration of Life Ceremony honoring Officer Brian Elliott, said a news release issued Friday afternoon from Indiana State Police.
Elliott was fatally shot Monday afternoon while responding to a violent domestic call involving Kenneth T. Johnson and his girlfriend, an Indiana State Police trooper’s report to Marion Superior Court 20 revealed Tuesday. Elliott, 33, a member of the Beech Grove Police Department since September 2024, died at Eskenazi Hospital, the department’s chief announced just before 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Immediately following the funeral ceremony, the procession is scheduled to depart Beech Grove High School between 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday as it moves toward Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
