Plane crashed minutes after takeoff from Spirit of St. Louis Airport, NTSB says

A cargo plane crashed just minutes after takeoff from the Spirit of St. Louis Airport last month and killed the pilot after an apparent attempt to return to the runway, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board.
