INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Preserving Indiana’s diverse musical heritage, the Indiana Music History Project operates out of a basement in Broad Ripple, collecting stories, memorabilia, and accounts that chronicle the state’s significant contributions to music.

Founded 11 years ago by Rick, a former record store owner and the project’s current director, the initiative addresses a long-standing absence of a dedicated archive for Indiana’s musical history.
