WHITEHALL, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Tucked away on Skene Mountain in Whitehall sits Skene Manor. The Victorian Gothic-style mansion overlooks the village once known as Skenesborough. It was built between 1872 and 1874 for New York Supreme Court Justice Joseph Potter and his wife, Catharine. The home cost about 25-thousand dollars to build in the 1870s. [...]
