Student builds igloo on Notre Dame campus
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — This January, not everyone is fighting the winter blues. In South Bend, Indiana, a University of Notre Dame student is creating a work of art on campus, and it’s bringing the campus together.
At Notre Dame, a bit of magic is creating quite the buzz on campus.
“Every time I go outside, there’s a group of people hanging out in my igloo checking it out,” said Liam Devine, a sophomore.
Devine is behind the large, multi-room igloo.
“I’ve spent around 90 hours on it now,” Devine said. “The longest I was out there 13 hours straight. I only stopped for dinner.”
Born in Belgium, Devine is a Florida native and was not used to this much snow.
