Newark, NJ – A Newark animal shelter is facing allegations it failed to warn a pet owner about a parvovirus exposure, after a recently adopted dog returned home and allegedly infected a litter of puppies, leaving five dead and others critically ill. The claims, made publicly by the dog’s owner, have not yet been addressed by the shelter.
