New ‘The Pitt’ Trailer Shows Season 2 Will Be the Most Intense Yet

HBO Max dropped the first look at season two of The Pitt on Dec. 16, and the footage makes it clear that the Pittsburgh Trauma Hospital’s ER isn’t getting any quieter.

Set against the chaos of the Fourth of July, the new trailer promises nonstop urgency, emotional collisions and unresolved tensions as the staff braces for another grueling run.

The trailer starts with Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Noah Wyle) saying, “and so it’s begins” in a calm moment before chaos takes over. The waiting room is full, stretchers rush in, and emergencies pile up as the busy holiday pushes the ER to its limit.

Despite previously hinting she might step away, charge nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa) is shown returning after a short absence, signaling she’s not done with the ER just yet.
