Nearly half million dollar lottery ticket sold at Pennsylvania Acme

Progressive jackpot ticket was purchased at a Marple Township supermarket

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery Fast Play ticket worth more than $439,000 was sold at a Delaware County supermarket, creating one of the game’s latest progressive jackpot winners.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, a Progressive Dreamin’ Fast Play ticket worth $439,828 was purchased Thursday at Acme Markets, 1991 N. Sproul Road in Marple Township.

The ticket won the game’s progressive top prize, which starts at $300,000 and increases until it is won.

Lottery officials have not released information about the ticket holder because prizes must be claimed and validated before a winner can be identified.

Acme Markets will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
