22 people arrested in Johnson County
FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) — Twenty-two people who are accused of selling illegal narcotics to undercover narcotics investigators were arrested Wednesday morning, police say.
Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, based in Franklin, said the operation began several months ago. The sheriff’s office and the Franklin Police Department say they have been working together for years to address the ongoing drug issue in the county.
The warrant roundup began with 31 drug warrants; Johnson County being responsible for 16 of those, while Franklin was responsible for 15. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office also had nine warrants to serve, with four of those people already in custody.
