INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Washington Square Mall has largely sat vacant for years. Dust and weeds have taken over parts, and Republican City-County Councilor Michael Paul Hart is taking steps to reinvent its future. The Washington Square Mall Vision plan will be unveiled to the public this Monday.

“It takes time, but we are actively looking forward, and there’s a lot of different moving parts to all of it,” Hart said. “The development piece is one of it. The financing piece is another. Investors want to see what’s going on with the current infrastructure on the site.”
