Missouri bill aims to replace death penalty with life sentence

A Missouri lawmaker is looking to end Missouri’s death penalty under a new bill filed in the House. The legislation would repeal more than two dozen regulations that enable capital punishment and replace them with language that removes the death penalty as a sentencing option.
