
Prosecutors say driver was impaired when head-on collision killed Freehold woman
Toms River, NJ — A 37-year-old Freehold woman was killed in a head-on crash in Toms River, leading to vehicular homicide charges against a Manchester man after authorities determined he was impaired, prosecutors said.
Daniel Cormier, 31, was charged April 13, 2026, with vehicular homicide and strict liability vehicular homicide in connection with the March 7 crash that killed Shamirah Nolan, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
