Man Found Shot Dead Inside Duquesne Home; Woman Detained as Homicide Detectives Investigate

Duquesne, PA — A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head inside a home on South 6th Street early Sunday morning, prompting a homicide investigation and the detention of a woman at the scene. The discovery followed a 1:32 a.m. 911 call reporting “unknown trouble” inside the residence in the 100 block.

First responders arrived to find the adult male deceased inside the home. An adult female present at the scene was detained as detectives began processing evidence and working to determine what led to the fatal shooting.
