Man fatally injured in shooting on St. Thomas Lane

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was fatally injured in a shooting on the city’s northwest side Saturday, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, IMPD officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of St. Thomas Lane on a report of a person shot. That is a residential area on the city’s northwest side. Officers arrived and found a man with gunshot wounds.

The man was initially listed in critical condition. He were later pronounced dead.

Investigators did not immediately provide any additional information on this incident.
