SEVERN, Md. — A Maryland woman who only occasionally plays the Lottery is celebrating a major payday after a quick stop for gas turned into a stunning $77K scratch-off jackpot win.

The Severn resident claimed a $77,777 top prize from the Maryland Lottery’s new $10 Triple Red 7s Multiplier scratch-off game.

The winner said she and her sister-in-law stopped at the Exxon station located at 805 Reece Road in Severn to buy gas and lottery tickets.
