Local Sofia La Porte represents Hawaiʻi on national stage in NY

Sofia La Porte, a Mid-Pacific Institute junior, will represent Hawai'i at the national ESU Shakespeare Competition in New York, after winning the state competition with the help of her teacher, Linda Johnson.
