Lingering showers overnight, clearing Wednesday

How great was yesterday? It was a tiny reminder that fall is just around the corner, especially for those of us who haven't liked the heat this month. Highs were in the mid-80s (after a cool morning!), and the humidity was low. It was a nearly perfect late July day. Unfortunately, it won't last as the humidity increased overnight, along with the clouds. There were even a few quick downpours that popped up overnight that contained some cloud-to-cloud lightning. Today will be more humid as a warm front moves through this morning. It will be mainly cloudy today with downpours popping up at any time. Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s.
