Lawmakers propose expanding Gateway Arch Park into East St. Louis

U.S. representatives from Illinois and Mo. introduced legislation March 9 to expand the boundaries of Gateway Arch National Park across the river into East St. Louis. The bill would incorporate Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park and adjacent vacant lots into the national park's official footprint.
