Eighteen tickets worth at least $10,000 were sold as players claimed more than $30.2 million in prizes

LAUREL, MD — A Laurel lottery player claimed Maryland’s biggest prize of the week after a Diamonds & Gold Scratch-off delivered a $2 million jackpot, leading a week that saw more than $30.2 million paid to winners across the state.

The Maryland Lottery said the top-winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 14001 Baltimore Ave. in Laurel.

The second-largest prize of the week was a $63,866 Home Run Riches Walk-Off Winnings FAST PLAY progressive jackpot ticket sold July 25 at A1 Plaza Liquor and Wines, 3215 Plaza Way in Waldorf. As of July 27, the prize remained unclaimed.

From July 20 through July 26, the Maryland Lottery paid more than $30.2 million in prizes, including 18 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more.
