Las Vegas Metro Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill announced the launch of the Meridian Project, a technologically advanced program to protect Las Vegas from terrorist attacks, which will include a 24/7 global intelligence and counter-terrorism capability, a 24/7 real-time analysis desk, and a global intelligence network in key cities and international locations.
