Jim Carrey’s Rep Slams Clone Rumors and Confirms His Attendance at Paris Awards Show

Jim Carrey is putting the clone rumors to rest after his recent appearance at the 51st César Awards in Paris set the internet abuzz.

Carrey, 64, debuted a shocking new look that included plumper cheeks and lips and a noticeably wrinkle-free forehead at the ceremony last week. Rumors quickly swirled that it wasn’t the real Ace Ventura star accepting the award, but a clone instead.

The clone theories quickly gained traction after drag artist Alexis Stone hinted that he had donned a mask and impersonated the Truman Show actor at the event. On his personal Instagram, Stone shared photos of a life-like mask and wig that resembled Carrey.

However, the In Living Color alum’s rep confirmed to the Daily Mail on Monday, March 2, that Carrey did, indeed, attend the awards show.
