IU defensive lineman Stephen Daley returning to the Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — IU football received good news on Tuesday, as defensive lineman Stephen Daley announced he is returning to the Hoosiers this season.

Daley, who was a senior last season, is returning for his fifth year. He was cleared by Indiana officials to return after the district court ruling in Colorado.

Daley played 13 games with IU last season, recording a Big Ten-leading 19 tackles for loss. He also had 5.5 sacks and 38 total tackles.

Daley suffered a knee injury while celebrating IU’s win against Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game and missed the rest of the season.

Daley and IU will begin fall camp practices on Wednesday in Bloomington.
