 At least 100 shots fired in Chicago shootout

(The Center Square) – No arrests have been reported after video surfaced of at least 100 shots being fired during an incident in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood.

CWB Chicago reports that a reader provided footage of nearly 40 seconds of uninterrupted gunfire involving five men around 2:25 a.m. on April 4.

A 31-year-old man was listed in good condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

A Chicago man is charged with threatening to shoot up a U.S. Secret Service office and hunt an agent.

Prosecutors say Michael Kovco, 29, made the threat in an electronic message through the official White House website March 19.

The message was allegedly sent about two hours after Secret Service officers visited Kovco’s home to inquire about a prior threat Kovco was accused of making March 17.<...
