
Federal agents detain man after release from Fort Dix correctional facility
Newark, NJ – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Newark have arrested a Salvadoran national following his release from federal custody, citing prior criminal convictions including an offense involving a minor.
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Newark confirmed that Julio Moran-Ramosa was taken into custody on March 17 after being released from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix.
Authorities said Moran-Ramosa has prior convictions for criminal sexual contact with a minor and illegal re-entry into the United States.
