MONROVIA, Ind. (WISH) — All lanes of Interstate 70 eastbound are closed due to a crash involving a semitruck and a passenger car.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash happened sometime before 9 a.m.
It’s unclear if any other vehicles were involved or if anyone was hurt.
Traffic cameras show several emergency vehicles at the scene, as well as an IU Lifeline helicopter.
I-70 EB was closed between Cloverdale and Joppa, covering almost 20 miles of highway. At least one lane of I-70 was back open as of 11:30 a.m.
