Gisele Bündchen is officially married again — and while the supermodel managed to keep her December 3 wedding to Joaquim Valente mostly under wraps, word still made its way to one very important person: her ex-husband, Tom Brady.

According to sources, the former NFL star knew about the marriage ahead of time and wasn’t blindsided by the news. An insider told Daily Mail, “It wasn’t a secret to him. They still have to talk because of the kids, and though that is often very brief, important milestones, schedules and of course her getting married was something she wasn’t going to keep secret.”

In other words, this wasn’t a shock — and Tom’s reaction has reportedly been calm, respectful, and grown-up. Per the same source, “He’s happy in the way that is simple: he’s happy that she is happy. Down the line he might get married again and he would want her to be OK with that, so he has to be OK about it.”
