Former Reporter Christina Chambers Found Dead Alongside Husband in Murder-Suicide

Christina Chambers, a former Alabama sports reporter, and her husband were found dead inside their home on Tuesday, December 16 according to WBRC, one of her former employers.

A 3-year-old child at the home was found unharmed.

Hoover Police reported that both Christina and her husband suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

In a press release, the Hoover Police Department said, “Although the investigation is in its early stages, it appears these deaths are the result of a murder/suicide and there is no threat to the public related to this case.”
