Officials say multiple departments responded as investigation into cause and reported injuries continues

Toms River, NJ — A structure fire in Toms River caused heavy damage and left a building unsafe for occupancy after firefighters escalated the response to a second alarm, officials said.

The fire was reported just before 11:00 a.m. on April 14, 2026, prompting a multi-agency response from Toms River Fire Companies Stations 25 and 26, along with East Dover Fire Company Station 28.
