Dutchess Co. launches new unit targeting drug trafficking, repeat offenders

The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office has launched a new unit to identify the individuals and criminal networks driving violence and persistent criminal activity in the county. The Smart Prosecution, Strategic Intelligence and Violence Elimination Unit is a premier unit that uses criminal intelligence, data analysis and coordinated prosecution strategies to find repeat offenders.
